Standards. Expectations. Trends. Typography, at its most complex: characters warped nearly beyond recognition, forms extruded and intersected, turning words into abstract objects. The wall graphic was designed for the interior of a small design studio. The request was to have “defy” hidden in the design, so my approach was an explosion of shapes that would ultimately warp into the word.
